To celebrate the 100th day of school this week we: Gave a prize to every child who had been present for all 100 days Had a soccer, basketball and throwing competition in the hall for all classes for 100 seconds Had a family fortunes quiz where each of the questions started with “we asked 100 children….” Had 100 seconds of exercise in the yard Took a 100 days of school photo to mark the occassion (see photo below) Celebrated with many other activities within the classroom. Classes have been working really hard on attendance and it shows again this month with attendance up on the previous year. We are running our Easter Egg Competition for April so anyone with full attendance for the first 10 school days in April will get an Easter Egg going home…….well pupils, not teachers 🙂 Well done to March’s All Star Attenders listed below. We kicked off our new school year with a good start on attendance. Despite the usual coughs, colds and sniffles we made a big effort to get in to school and had an extra special bonus prize this month. Any child in everyday for the last 2 weeks of January got to go to the “School Cinema”. We had the hall set up with a giant projector screen and watched Gnome Alone in the morning, complete with popcorn. We also had several classes beat their attendance from January last year and will be kicking off the prizes for those classes with pizza parties this week. Keep up the good work on attendance...

With a busy month of play practice for Christmas concerts children did really well getting to school and preparing for one of the best days in the school calendar. Welcome back to another year and to our monthly All Star Attenders’ Post. For those of you who are new, each month we make an effort to recognise all those students who have had 100 % attendance for the month. Each student with perfect attendance is given a stamp in their attendance booklet and can claim a prize each month or save their stamps for bigger prizes. We also run a class competitions and if the class beats their attendance for the same month last year they win a prize. Welcome back to the first All Star Attenders blog post of the new school year. For those new to the school, as you probably know, we work really hard on improving attendance here in the school every year, aiming to have children in school as much as possible.
