We are thrilled to announce that our new sensory room is complete! The room was built with the generous grant St. Peter’s received from Salesforce.org. Each of the children have now had the opportunity to explore the room and they all agree it really is magic! The room has many wonderful elements including a bubble tube, a trampoline, a slide, and a ball pool.  It was so fantastic seeing the children’s eyes sparkle and their happy faces when they experienced the room for the first time. We truly are very lucky. Thanks again Salesforce.org!

We have just received some very exciting news! St. Peter’s has become the first school in Ireland to receive funding under Salesforce.org’s Circle the Schools programme. A portion of the grant will go towards the creation of a new computer room with state of the art technology and also towards the creation of a multi-sensory room. This room will allow students a place...

The New Year got off to a flying start in St. Peter’s Primary School! Festina Lente came to visit with beautiful miniature horses. The junior classes were allowed to pet them and they asked lots of questions on how to look after them. The new Board of Management met in early January and discussed all of the important issues relating to the school. Sixth class took part in the Primary Science Fair which runs in conjunction with the BT Young Scientist. They created and programmed a talking robot called OBOT. They had a great time in the RDS and really impressed all of the visitors to their stand....

The St. Peter’s Primary Student Council ran a very successful Crazy Sock Day on November 28th. This was a fundraising effort that the Student Council wanted to hold in the run up to Christmas. We wanted our students to help those in need in Christmas. We ran the Crazy Sock Day by asking everyone to wear in socks into school that were big, colourful, funny and even homemade!  Everyone who took part donated a euro from their pocket money, with all money going to Concern. It was a great day. People arrived in with all sorts of socks! Even the teachers got involved. Have a look at all of our...

We have decided to help those in need this Christmas, and also to have a little fun when doing so! We have decided to do these things: 1. Run a fun, Crazy Sock Day where all staff and students will wear CRAZY socks to school. Everyone will be asked to kindly give €1 to charity! We will then use the money to buy Concern Gifts for people in need! Here are Aoife and John telling everyone about it as they made...

Today’s ‘Wednesday for Parents’ is all about how you can use Khan Academy as a parent to improve your child’s Maths skills. So, what is Khan Academy? Khan Academy...
