Recently we were delighted to receive a new set of books for each class from 1st to 6th as part of a competition run by Prim-Ed Publishing. Read the release for Prim-Ed below…

 

St. Peter’s Primary School wins New Wave English in practice workbooks for the entire school.

Recently, Prim-Ed Publishing ran an online competition that offered the chance to win workbooks for an entire school.The competition was open to Principals, teachers, parents and pupils and all were invited to submit a review of one of Prim-Ed’s workbooks.

The winner, Patrick Kinsella, a teacher at St Peter’s Primary School in Bray, entered the competition with his review of‘New wave mental maths’.

“We are delighted to present St Peter’s Primary School with their prize of our brand new workbook ‘New Wave English in Practice’. Patrick’s review of ‘New Wave Mental Maths’highlighted the objective of the workbook; to improve children’s grasping of mathematical concepts at an individual level. We were delighted to have so many entries to the competition and the feedback has proved that our workbookshave been successful in assisting teachers gain better results”, said Seamus McGuinness, MD of Prim-Ed Publishing.

We use New wave mental maths in each class in our school everyday and have seen an improvement in the children’s grasping of mathematical concepts. It’s a great way to keep the children actively engaging in the different strands throughout the year. We can’t wait to try out New wave English in practice.”
