Student Council LogoThe St. Peter’s Primary Student Council ran a very successful Crazy Sock Day on November 28th. This was a fundraising effort that the Student Council wanted to hold in the run up to Christmas. We wanted our students to help those in need in Christmas. We ran the Crazy Sock Day by asking everyone to wear in socks into school that were big, colourful, funny and even homemade!  Everyone who took part donated a euro from their pocket money, with all money going to Concern. It was a great day. People arrived in with all sorts of socks! Even the teachers got involved. Have a look at all of our tweets from the day!

We raised loads of money, €116 to be exact! We decided to spend our money on Concern Gifts for those in need. This is what we bought.

Concern were so pleased with the Student Council and sent us lovely messages.

Have a look at what we bought!

Thanks to everyone who took part, and Merry Christmas from the Student Council!
