As you know, we have had a VIP visitor in St. Peter’s since before St. Patrick’s Day. Brigid came to visit us, and we were curious about what kind of a bee she was ever since our Polly got an invitation to visit her! It was lovely when she came to stay and play with Polly. This morning when we came in, she was gone! She has flown back to Greystones. Thanks to our friends in St. Bridget’s for allowing her to visit us. They are the best bloggers and tweeters! We loved having Bridget to stay. Here a send off podcast for Bridget.

I have been working with Mr. Kinsella to make a stop motion animation. First we planned our story and then we wrote it. After I corrected and edited it we made a list of everything we needed to make it. Filming started last week and we hope to have it finished before Easter and up on the blog. In the meantime I hope you enjoy the trailer! By Jordan Farrell IMG 0159[1] from St Peter's, Bray on Vimeo.

For parents, there are articles on topical issues, information on special needs and links to information from the Department of Education. You can access the parents homepage here. To introduce you to the parents section on Scoilnet, we’ve chosen three links that might be of interest! This is the ‘Focus on’ section – an archive of all the topics...

Everybody in the class gave him a big round of applause. He is allowed to bring two guests with him to the presentation. Mr. Foley and another guest are going  to the presentation with him. The name of his book was “The Dwarven City of Dishea”....

On Wednesday we had some very kind and helpful visitors in our room. Some of the wonderful parents at St. Peter’s came in to see us and show us some wonderful fun ways to use maths! Adam loved Uno and Jordan tried very hard to beat him! Nathan O’B and Nathan K especially loved the shark picture on the tessellating shapes. Johnny and Lorcan tried to make their shapes quicker than everyone else! We loved our Maths For Fun and can’t wait for the next one!

Last week’s student of the week in Ms. Mitchell’s class was Arturas. Arturas worked very hard all week and got 90% in both his spellings and tables test on Friday! You can see them outside our classroom because they are also this week’s “work of the week”. Well done Arturas, keep it up!
