Hello peOple of the internet (again!). This week we have a sPecial surprise for you. We have been practicing rEally hard on a song and we can’t tell you what it is but the good news is you can listen to it! We are hopeFul that you listen to it… hint hint, wink wink! Hello people of the internet! In Fourth Class we have been doing our Write a Book project recently. First we had to plan out the plot. Then we had to write it out chapter by chapter. We did six chapters each. After each chapter was written we passed out the copies and everybody got to read a random story. We wrote a comment on each story. When we had it finished we typed it out. We also illustrated two pictures for inside the story and the front cover. We have also been doing long multiplication and division. We’re just finishing division now. 6th Class embraced the festive spirit in December and planned a Secret Santa in class. The gifts were thoughtful, personalised, homemade and delivered with the best of fun, laughter and friendship. What more could you want? We also had a lovely lunch of ‘Christmas sandwiches’ – delicious! What a lovely way to finish off a term with so many great highlights. Recently in St Peter’s, we’ve been celebrating healthy eating. Last week, we had Sandwich Day, where some of our classes got to make a sandwich with lots of healthy fillings! 2nd class made a podcast about their choice of fillings and we have lots of lovely photos in our Animoto. In our classrooms, we practised procedural writing and the senior classrooms learned about nutrition and fitness as part of our work towards our Active Flag!
