STEM for Fun with the junior classes started a couple of weeks ago. Here Junior Infants, Senior Infants and 1st Class are brought to the hall each week to work with teachers and parents to engage in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths games and challenges. Check out some of our pictures below (where the adults seem to be having just as much fun as the children!)  

Welcome to the May edition of St. Peter’s All Star Attenders. Last month’s winners were 1st Class, who became the first class to win the award 3 times this year. This equals the record by a class to win the award in any year. Could they break the record before the end of the year? Welcome to the April edition of St. Peter’s All Star Attenders. Last month’s winners 4th Class chose to walk down to Bray seafront to enjoy the views with hot chocolate and marshmallows from Finbees. This was the second time they won the award. As part of Operation Transformation we decided to get the whole school involved and take part in the 10@10. This involved getting students and teachers taking part in 10 minutes of activity at 10 o’clock on the 10th of February. Junior Infants were the first class to win the attendance award in St. Peter’s this year. They had the best attendance school wide, for the month of September! Well done Junior Infants! As their prize, Junior Infants attended the St. Peter’s cinema. It was SO much fun! To start, each Junior Infant was given a ticket that they needed to look after very carefully. They lined up at the cinema entrance, gave their ticket to the cinema officials and each got to collect their popcorn, sweets and drink from the cinema shop.  Welcome back to another year and to our monthly All Star Attenders’ Post. For those of you who are new, each month we make an effort to recognise all those students who have had 100 % attendance for the month. Each student with perfect attendance is given a certificate along with all students who fully completed homework. Those who have full attendance and full homework for the month are also rewarded with a prize such as homework off. We also run a class competition and the class with the best attendance for the month wins a prize. Some of the prizes last year included trips to The Mermaid...
