6th had an amazing end to this part of Term 2! Since Christmas we’ve been on a real rollercoaster, enjoying days out, hard work, staring on the TV (!), projects… the works! Here is what we got up to recently. Our big news is that we were on the TV… but more about that later! We also had an amazing Engineer’s Week, again – more about that later! Hello peOple of the internet (again!). This week we have a sPecial surprise for you. We have been practicing rEally hard on a song and we can’t tell you what it is but the good news is you can listen to it! We are hopeFul that you listen to it… hint hint, wink wink! The song will be Used in our class during our Anti Bullying month in school next month, and hopefully you have a good time Listening to it. Junior and Senior Infants have been learning about the post office during Aistear. We have been learning what our address is, we have been learning that we put our address on letters and parcels that you send off in the post. We have been learning what stamps are too.   We had a very exciting visit from Trevor the postman last week. We asked him loads of questions like “where do you get the letters?” Trevor told us that another postman collects the letters and sends them to Dublin. The people in Dublin send them back to Bray and Trevor delivers them! We asked them what happens... 

We love to use Vine in 6th Class. It’s a snapshot of our day, a window into our classroom! It’s a lovely way to capture the energy and enjoyment in our school day. Vine is like a moving photograph! Between homework, entrance exam preparation, decorating the classroom, preparing for Safer Internet Day and Confirmation, welcoming guest speakers to our classroom… the list is endless!
