  Hope the midterm is going well! Just a short post this week to point out a few good websites with Halloween games and activities. Don’t forget this list of activities from last week for things to do out and about over the midterm 1Halloween has lots of ideas for costumes and decorations. They also have plenty of colouring and activity pages, along with a few simple games. PBS Kids is a nice one with lots of activities for younger children Scoilnet is an Irish educational website with lots of activities for students. This one is more suited to senior classes (3rd class up)

Paddy movie from St Peter’s, Bray on Vimeo. 26.2 miles 320 laps of our back yard… Thousands of runners… Including Paddy! On Monday, 28th October 2013, Paddy will take part in the Dublin City Marathon. Check out the video we made this morning to cheer him on. Good luck to everyone taking part in the marathon on Monday! Leave your good luck messages for Paddy (and anyone else you know!) in the comments!

Next week, schools are closed for midterm! This week’s Wednesday for Parents focuses on ideas for entertainment, here in Bray, around County Wicklow and a few further afield. Some events may need to be booked early. In no particular order, our top recommendations are: Sealife! Sealife have a Scary Fish Festival on next week with zombie pirate trick or treating, design a ‘Frankenfish’ competition, facepainting and a pirate quiz trail! If you can, it’s well worth booking online as you can save up to €14 on family tickets. It’s €29 to book online for a family of...

Happy Halloween to everybody in St. Peter’s and the viewers from outside our school worldwide. Everybody in Fourth Class has written a scary story for Halloween. Some were as long as 3 pages. After we finished writing them, some of our stories were recorded on Mr. Foley’s iPad. We used an app on the iPad called “Soundcloud”. Some of the pupils who recorded did it in hilarious and scary voices. Mr. Foley recorded some boys while others were working. Of course when everything was going great Mr. Foley deleted the first two stories by accident! Nine boys recorded their stories....
