Sixth class began their transfer programme with Michelle from School Completion on Monday morning. Over the next few weeks, Michelle is going to help the class to get ready for secondary school. This morning, we moved our boxes to the library as if they were our lockers and we were given our timetables for our week. We go to our ‘lockers’ in the mornings, at the breaks and at the end of the day to get the books we need for the classes we have and for our homework.

Yesterday in our session with Michelle, we got our workbooks for the programme. We focused on what makes us unique – about our favourite things and about what skills and qualities we have.

How are you finding the locker system? What’s the most difficult thing about it?

I like having the baskets up in the library.

We have to pay for rent for the lockers in actual secondary so that’s more difficult:(
