🌼Sunday, 10th of May was a special day that our second class students had been looking forward to. It would have been their First Holy Communion Day. For now, this date has been postponed but we put together this video to celebrate the occcasion! 🌼All of us are really looking forward to this day in the near future but for now, have a look to see some familiar faces with a special message! A huge well done and a thank you to all of our students and teachers who contributed to making our 2016 Confirmation such a beautiful and memorable day for all. Everyone did so well and all of the hard work paid off. As always, our choir were wonderful and did us all proud. 6th Class had practiced so hard and prepared wonderful artwork in the run-up to the day. We are so grateful to Sr. Patricia, Fr. Larry, Fr. Eddie and the entire parish team for their continued support of our students. We remember Fr. James too, and send him our very best. We hope you like our slideshow that we created! Thanks...

Congratulations to 2nd class who received their First Holy Communion at a beautiful ceremony on Sunday. It was a very special day for everyone and we were delighted to share it with our school friends in the choir, our families and the parish of St Peter’s. Well done to all of 2nd class, who read, took part in the procession and sang beautifully throughout. Everyone in St Peter’s was very proud of how hard they worked. Special thanks to the team in St Peter’s Parish, who helped us to prepare – especially Sr Patricia and Fr Eddie. Here are some of our photos from the day... 

Congratulations to our wonderful Sacramental Choir who sang so beautifully at the recent Confirmation. 24 boys and girls from 2nd to 5th came to St Peter’s Parish Church on Saturday morning after weeks of practice at lunchtimes! We got great feedback about their beautiful singing and their school spirit was really appreciated! We’re looking forward to hearing them again at the Communion ceremony on the 24th April!  

Thanks to everyone who made our 6th Class Confirmation day so memorable. We had a beautiful day. Everyone had jobs to do and we prepared very well. 6th Class have decided to record their prayers to help them to prepare to celebrate their Confirmation next term. There are many prayers for us to learn. We have made two full sheets with lots of prayers and we have sent them home to practice every night. If you are practicing the prayers, it might help to play these podcasts where we are reminded what to say. We can practice the prayers beside the sound. These are the prayers from page one as sent home!  

St. Peter’s Primary celebrated the First Holy Communion of our 2nd Class pupils on May 25th last. It was a lovely day and the sun shone for our 16 pupils and their families. It was the first time we celebrated First Holy Communion with girls in our school and it made the occasion all the more special! Many thanks to the older pupils in the school who sung in the choir on the day, and congratulations again to our 2nd Class pupils! As always, we are very grateful for the support of Fr. James and Sr. Patricia and the local choir who helped the school to prepare for the day. Thanks also to Shell...

Do you like our sheep that we made for the altar in the church? This Tuesday on the 20th of May, 2nd Class will make their First Confession in our local church, St. Peter’s. Everyone is very excited. We have been working on our prayers, practicing our songs and learning the lines of our story called The Lost Sheep. We will be singing three songs on Tuesday. They are called Connected, The Lost Sheep and My Shepherd is the Lord. We will also be saying prayers on the altar. We know our Lost Sheep story off by heart. Would you like to hear it?
