Hi everyone! We can’t believe it is October already! 5th Class have been doing some brilliant work with Ms. Brennan and our visiting teacher Ms. Mooney. Read all about it below.

Firstly, here are some of our videos!

We’ve been doing some fantastic work in Drama.

Our comprehension strategy actions are really coming on. We’ve been working on prediction, creating images, making connections and comparisons! This really helps us with our reading.

We’re working on some EXPLOSIVE art that will help us with experiments in Science!

The Stars of the Week keep on shining!

Our ‘cuppa at lunch’ Class Dojo reward is proving very popular!

Many of our parents come into class to help with our work. Susan inspired Dylan to read a classic!

D has been reading a new book, and got a tweet from the author!

We’ve been cooking up a storm too, making food linked to our history theme on the Aztecs!

We also started our Growth Mindset and Roots of Empathy journeys of learning!

We were delighted to post the 7,000th tweet from our school account.

We maxed out a new champ on Go Noodle!

We’re learning a new song.

We have learned some new Playworks actions!

We have been getting great compliments about our classroom door!

Our ‘creative corner’ on the landing is full of our beautiful work now.

We’re picking up on our brilliant STEM work from last year.

Mental Maths work is our favourite!

Our oral language work continues.

Dylan was a mascot for Bray Wanderers and we were so proud of him!

We’re getting older and smarter!

Our ‘Good News Friday’ recordings made the national lunchtime news on Today FM!

And we’ve been keeping fit and healthy in PE!

Our 2D shape working is coming along nicely.

Phew! What a busy time! Keep up the great work everyone!
