We all thoroughly enjoyed decorating and eating our delicious pancakes today!
Ryan and Nathan had very creative ideas and quite a lot of toppings too!!
White chocolate, sugar & lemon and golden syrup were our favourites!
As we ate we talked about what Pancake Tuesday is and discovered that it is also
called ” Shrove Tuesday”.
Ben told us that it is always the day before Ash Wednesday.
Ryan explained that it is always just before Lent begins.
Nathan O’B knew that Lent lasted for 40 days and 40 nights.
We are looking forward to getting our Ashes at mass tomorrow.

I really loved the pancakes. I remember the day we all had them and when we had to put on the toppings, I put EVERYTHING on!
