Today we thought about all of the signs of Spring in nature, we then went on a nature walk to check if had forgotten to add anything ! Afterwards we made a wordle of all things to do with Spring and nature.
We learnt that Spring is a time of growth; the plants and trees are starting to grow buds & leaves, and the animals are coming out of hibernation. Many animals are having babies now too, we have noticed lambs, calves and chicks. We named quite a lot of Spring flowers today too; daffodil, snowdrop, bluebell, tulip, primrose, can you think of anymore?
Ms. Mitchell found some frogspawn and mother frogs in Glendalough over the midterm break – how many can you spot?
